I want to learn how to knit, and I can't find any good websites. Does anybody know any good ones? I don't like the ones with videos since I don't have audio on my computer, and I need good pictures because I'm a visual learner.
I used one with videos, but it wasn't so much the audio that was important, it was watching what they do.. and then you can pause it to see the individual steps more closely.
But I kinda had to improvise anyways, 'cause I'm left handed.
Well, there's two ways of knitting (English and Continental), one where you hold the yarn in your left hand and the other where you hold the yarn in your right... so there's bound to be a method that'll work out for you:)
What helped me a lot was
www.knittinghelp.com though not sure if you'll get anything out of it without sound...but it's worth taking a look.

Try googling, or get a book from the library like Stitch 'n b***h. (Not a windup, that's really what it's called. It has a sequel called Stitch 'n b***h Nation)
