I don't stalk people on Facebook, since I've stopped going there.

I do, however, stalk people on DeviantArt.

Haha who doesn't?
As long as I'm not planning on going over to their house with a chainsaw, it's fine.

That would be me.

I feel dirty by just having visited FB before (my sister's and my old friend's).

Only a couple of orchestral colleagues who are in my friends list and co-admins of my group. They do the same to me, though, and they and I are fine with it. Half the reason I'm on Facebook is to trade friendly insults with them.

I don't need to stalk you on dA, I already know what you're up to since you're a regular on here. :)

I think the last drop of alcohol (Chianti or otherwise) on the planet would have vanished, before I would have ANY interest in facebook........

Well I just joined Facebook again and I don't really bother with that TBH. Only reason I even made an account is because I need to keep in contact with some people for business reasons and Facebook's the easiest way to do so.

That said, if you put stuff on Facebook, you hardly have any right to get upset when people go poking around at it.

Not as a rule. Facebook is evil anyway.

The origin of that phrase is linked to a doll that was released long long ago, which was probably the first doll with a pull string voice. It was featured in a twilight zone episode which may have influenced its rise to fame... Chatty Patty was the 1984 re-release of the doll.

The understanding behind the phrase:
People are called 'Chatty Kathies' when they talk without any real intelligence behind the words they are saying.

As for Facebook... I have started facebook accounts at the behest of others, but find it very inefficient and with a poor interface. I don't visit it and don't use it unless I'm instructed to for some reason by others. Obviously that just has to do with me, because most of the world seems to adjust to the thing just fine.

I look at the profiles of people who interest me sometimes. This doesn't happen that often.
