Does aspergers or autisim in general effect your natural strength levels? I heard people with aspergers have muscle tone issues and are not as strong as they could be?

I'm actually stronger than most people that I know, male or female.

I'm not strong but I'm resilient.

I have strong legs but not upper body. I'm a good swimmer. On gym equipment I doubt I could bench 100 lbs, but I can move 200 lbs with my legs without much trouble.

Interesting you should mention this, I'm the exact opposite - I can sprint faster than anyone I know, have lifted beyond my own weight and can take a fair beating before going down.

However I can't do any of these things for more than about 10-15 seconds

But back to the original posters question, I don't think it makes a difference.

That's what they say is the main difference in strength between males and females. A male can run faster but a female can run longer (at a slower pace). Maybe there's a evolutionary reason for this.

Yes. It's called childbirth.

That's me, too. I have been procrastinating on trying to build my upper body. I actually have NO idea what to do about it, LOL. I know pushups and doing some benchpressing will build pectoral muscles. However, it's hard, dammit!

I think I'm just imbalanced. I have strong legs and arms but my "core" is comparatively weak. My posture is bad and I have a spine condition that makes my back feel tired after standing for too long.

My hands are incredibly weak, even for someone who doesen't work out. I suspect I might have a low blood circulation or arthritis. I'm a fast runner - or atlest I used to be ( I lack the motivation to workout), not resiltent.

I think it is more of my sedentary lifestyle that causes my weakness :? Although even when I was required to train and eventually run for a statewide physical education exam I couldn't build up anything even remotely resembling endurance. I actually tried, too. It seems like I can't really retain muscle tone.

When I got out of basic training I had a solid six pack, hard pecks, and hardly any fat on me. I went in weighing 188 left 155 Lbs. Not the six pack is behind a keg. Right now I am fat because I got lazy. But I am still strong as an ox and almost as smart as one.
