If I was a the one giving birth (even if I was the 2nd man on earth to do so) I wouldn't give up any of them, I doubt my girlfriend would either? I believe that once you get a baby, you should welcome a baby into the world but if my girlfriend decided to get an abortion, the chances are that I would probably be ripped apart, but it would be her opinion she she would be the one carrying in the baby.

But that's really my opinion really.

If I were female, the only circumstances under which I'd choose to abort would be if the baby would not survive past a few years, or if continuing the pregnancy would pose health risks for me. I wouldn't mind having a child with Down Syndrome or any other disability, as long as the child wouldn't have to suffer through a life of misery because of it.

That wasn't a real man. It had XX chromosomes and female reproductive organs.

I would abort for many, if not all, of these reasons.

Life is difficult enough for those with no physical and/or mental challenges to contend with.

I should've been aborted.

Best add "not being blonde" to that list. "Not having blue eyes" as well.

Wait, this is the "Master race eugenics thread" right?"

Asthma.. who in the name of holy f**k aborts for Asthma? Anybody who chooses to abort for asthma should probably BE aborted, regardless of how ex-utero they are.

I know, but the people did say that she/he was a man so I thought I just went along with it.
Second of all, I was pretty much exaggerating.

But you get the idea what I meant?

kind of a moot question since a good number of these conditions typically have a chance to develop during childhood or at any time during adulthood.

for instance, every pregnancy runs the risk of premature birth, which can cause deafness. therefore every pregnancy runs the risk of resulting in a deaf child. if you were going to abort for that, you'd have to abort every baby, and then whats the point of getting pregnant in the first place?

I don't really think there will ever be a good reason. I oppose abortion in all cases. I don't know all of the items on your list, but most of them sound like they won't be the direct cause of someone's death. Life is a precious gift that God doesn't include the receipt with.
