The weekend has started and Monday is also a public holiday.

I can relax here at home until 1:30 then I go to work for a few hours. Then I can relax again.

The fact that I found a cap @ Goodwill for so little.

Gave a friend a hug today. He's a lot taller than me, so I just kind of nestled my head against his chest. It was nice. I think I needed that.

This weeks petrology lab is a two parter so nothing is due till next Friday. So I didn't feel compelled to stay and work on it during the allotted class time. I can go back and work on it more secluded now.

I was running low on cash. I checked my balance and to my surprise I had about $3,300. Looks like payroll cleaned the bugs out of their system so they can pay me for the month. They'll be paying me more after I go full time in march.

Also, I got an email from TAFE. They said they've accepted my last minute course changes. I didn't think they would. So now I can study... and work... at the same time. I have to meet with them next week but so long as they can fit around my schedule. If I can get my diploma from them I can get a degree. It'll have to be done externally because unlike TAFE I don't think UniSA is open at night. But still. It means I can have a degree like everyone else. I just hope I can keep my energy levels up.

Also I have a date for tomorrow.

The cheap shirt that I bought one or two years ago and considered as a boring shirt turned out to look very nice on me. I will very happily go out in it.

I am seeing my friend today.

I got a gift: 2lbs of Raw Cacao Paste
Ooooo, it's the small things in life, I'll start with a spicy hot chocolate.

Amity, can you get equal exchange spicy hot chocolate where you live? It's so good!

Not directly from a shop, or even from an online Irish supplier, the raw cacao paste is a rarity even in health food stores, lol.
I melted the paste, added skimmed milk, cayenne powder and some cinnamon. It was nice, thanks for the name of a powdered version, I looked at the ingredients in the Exchange mix and next time Ill use less cinnamon and add some vanilla.

So I found a promotional Digimon videotape from 1999 called "Meet the Digimon!" @ a thrift store another town away from me. Paid 27 cents for it. It's 6-minutes long, and I wish I could get it on YouTube.
