None of the above: Steve Barton (who originally played Raoul and played the Phantom himself on Broadway for a bit) :D

I'm afraid that I am only familiar with Crawford and Butler from the musical version. Are the others from earlier, non-musical Phantom of the Opera movies? It's an interesting question, but I'd have a hard time comparing the two versions because they are different genres.

John cudia and the other one are from recent broadway. Lon Cheney is from the 1925 version. so, butler or crawford?

Michael Crawford, definitely. His voice fits the character of the Phantom in the musical so well, to the point that it is hard for me not to picture him as the Phantom any time I hear him sing. (He has a very nice Christmas album, but it's quite odd to imagine the Phantom singing Christmas songs!)
