Yes I was. My parents told me they took me to the doctors when I was a baby because my baby teeth weren't coming out and they were concerned. Throughout school I was really short and I didn't start the growth spurt of puberty until I was in grade 9. Well, right now at 20, although I am shorter than average, I turned out fine at around 5' 8", I think.

At first I was not sure what you meant in late bloomer, so in nascent... ummm I was, thirteen-and-a-half before anything began happening, dunno if that is late for a boy or not, all I learned is girls mature earlier... I now hand over to the more educated!

I didn't start noticing any physical changes until I was about 13 or 14. As of now, I weight about 95 pounds and I am barely over five feet tall.

I got my period and started growing body hair at age 10. Didn't get breasts or interest in the opposite sex until I was 17. :/

Is this post talking about socially, puberty or sexuality :?:
Socially~ I was always very behind
Puberty~ I had to start having my face shaved in 6th grade
Sexuality~ I never had sex & I didn't really become interested in relationships till after high-school

I was an early bloomer. I started my period at the age of 10. It was a nightmare, for a tomboy.

No, I started my puberty just on time; actually I was one of the first three girls in my class who started menstruating.

Socially, yes.
When I was in my teens, seeing how pretty and popular some girls were in school made me feel like crap. However, I came into my own, so to speak, in my twenties and even now in my forties, I look and feel good about myself.

Those pretty popular girls had reached the height of their looks and popular status, and from all the ones I've seen through the years, they went downhill in most aspects from there. I take a small slice of satisfaction from that. :P
