I've posted the removed video in the appropriate thread. I didn't mean to scare everyone.

Lit - My Own Worst Enemy. Video.

Lyrics:

Can we forget about the things I said
when I was drunk
I didn't mean to call you that
I can't remember what was said or what you threw at me
Please tell me, please tell me Why
My car is in the front yard,
and I'm Sleeping with my clothes on
Came in through the window last night
And your gone
Gone
It's no suprise to me I am my own worst enemy
'Cause every now and then I kick the living s**t out of me
The smoke alarm is going off,
and there's a cigarette Still burning,
Please tell me why my car is in the front yard
and I'm sleeping with my clothes on
came in through the window last night and your gone
gone please tell me why my car is in the front yard
and I'm sleeping with my clothes on
I came in through the window last night
It's no suprise to me
I am my own worst enemy
'Cause every now and then I kick the living s**t out of me
Can we forget about the things I said
when I was drunk
I didn't mean to call you that

I'll answer this question as to what songs "strike a chord" so to speak. The specific songs I chose showed-up in one (sleep) dream; personally, more than one-song in a dream is rare.

You've Got Your Troubles - The Fortunes - circa. 1965
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/You%27ve_Got_Your_Troubles

Across the Universe - The Beatles (Lennon/McCarthy) - circa. 1969
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Across_the_Universe

Have (sleep) dreams presented specific songs / instrumental music of interest?

John Lennon?s ?Give Me Some Truth? ? a song that was even playing in a (sleep) dream, Described as follows: The song played in what appeared like a theatrical performance taking place in an urban parking-lot, with a brick building in the background. One solo performer was miming behind an approx. six-foot tall and ten-foot wide three-sided semi-opaque glass-window prop.

With ?Give Me Some Truth? playing in stereo, the solo-male performer dressed like a mime was holding a thick black-book (about 12 by 18 inches in size). The performer proceeded to open the book to selected pages, and pressed the open pages (with large-print font words per page) against the glass. It appeared that there were a few people watching the performance.

While our performer continues to mime his way, and display several different pages, the view through the glass goes from a semi-opaque view to an increasingly clear view with each successive turn of the book?s pages; where each page contained large-print messages a few words in length.

I cannot make out the specific content of the pages, but I can feel that the book?s content signifies current social/economic concerns; which are ironic to Lennon?s ?Give Me Some Truth? e.g., hypocrisy, lies seemed to tie-in to the book?s content; as the large-print appeared to communicate, and instill.

From this dream, this song not only describes me personally, but the dream also offered ironic descriptions.

I, know, caught up in the middle
I cry just a little
When I think of letting go
Oh no, gave up on the riddle
I cry just a little
When I think of letting go

HarmonySeptember. I love Wicked and that song. =]
