Lol as soon as the sun goes down in my neighborhood its like that anyway... the only difference is these zombies have guns too and they don't want to eat you, just sell you drugs or rob you..

Fear not, if a zombie outbreak happens (or any disaster) I have enough guns ammo and MREs to last for 5 years...

I don't know, it has it's pros & cons

Cons:
Personal hygiene takes a distinct nosedive
Your have an increasingly detached relationship with your extremities
Vocabulary becomes limited to "brrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnsssssssss"
Diet can be an issue to vegetarians

Pros:
No longer need to go to worry about getting an unsuitable job
Seamlessly blend into a crowd of your peer zombies
No need to worry about following fashions and trends, or even changing your clothes
Lack of social skills also no longer a problem

I don't think the pros would be much comfort to me when I'm getting my head blown off by some shotgun blast.

You won't get far in the afterlife with an attitude like that...

You're always one step ahead dragon. I'd like to play chess against you.

If you're serious, I wouldn't mind letting my rusty chess skills(?!) out for a game.

Also. Zombies. Yeah. Dawn of the Dead. Metaphor for western consumer culture. Ace film. Watch eeeet.

Sure, I see zombies as the woosies of the monster kingdom. Just wear some kelvar and a face shield, or step inside and close the door to be safe. It is like just staying out of the water if you don't want to eaten by a revenge-minded shark.

Yes, this. I have recurring dreams in which the world has been overcome by the zompocalypse. It's been suggested to me that this is a metaphor for how I see the world. I hadn't thought of it before, but I think that was spot on.

As far as a literal zompocalypse? If the zombies leave the non-human animals alone, I say bring it on. I think I'd fare quite well in an apocalyptic setting, though perhaps not if I was being harassed by other survivors. I have a few basic skills and am a quick learner, I'm a pretty good shot, can go extended periods of time without human contact without going funny in the head, and am pretty good at keeping my cool. Besides, I think I'd do well to have things shaken up a bit.

Definitely. Life would be so much more interesting because when a disaster of that scale occurs, there's not normal people and autistic people, we're all just humans fighting for survival.

There is no such thing as a "normal" person, we're all f****d up. And we're already fighting for our survival, a Zombie Apocalypse would just be a great long ass holiday.

No zombies are lame. Not only that one of the few people I love would probably get brushed against by a zombie and get infected... Then I'd likely shoot my head open.

I would find having something to battle fun... but zombies are so boring it's like fighting stinky still targets.

I'd much rather prefer some sort of demon apocalypse type thing where the battles would be challenging and there's actually a possibility of defeat. :)

Cthulhu Apocalyspe maybe?

No, I wouldn't want zombies, they would smell, they like to bite, and I wouldn't want to get infected. And as a zombie, I would hate having flies laying eggs on me, knowing that if I don't pick them all off right away, they'll turn into maggots.

I'd very much rather have the apocolypse that happens in Duke Nukem 3D and Duke Nukem Forever, as you'd have aliens invading, police officers/military guys get turned into pigmen, and best of all, it happens mostly out west.

Zombie Apocolypse
Pros:Owning a gun=Good
Zombies are fun to annoy
Zombies generally move slow

Cons: Risk of infection
Loved ones could get infected
Zombies have bad smell
Zombies go after anything that is living and consists of flesh
If zombified, either becoming dumb or if smart, having to deal with decay and maggots
Zombies look majorly creepy if they consist of animate body parts or they have been somewhat dismembered
Also majorly creepy once they begin to skeletonize
Too many zombies can be a morale killer
Possible disruption of food, electricity and water if workers are zombiefied/dead
Infection can spread fast and far, easily
Not-yet-dead Infectees might not be detected early
Not-yet-dead Infectees might fight you if you try to neutralize them

Duke Nukem Apocolypse
Pros: Enemies are alive, so they remain dead once killed
Guns=Good
No seemingly major disruption of food supplies and electricity, or even water for plumbing
Police still patrol the cities, even if they are mutated
Major alien infestation seems mostly confined to some big cities out west
One big league guy (Duke) is fighting the aliens and defeating them
Aliens' goal doesn't seem to be extermination of human race, just enslaving it
Aliens won't care that you have Aspergers
Aliens can eventually be defeated

Cons: Nasty aliens
Nasty mutant police/military guys
Some humans might think it's ok to act uncivilized now (Grrr!! :x )
The big league guy (Duke) is a major sexist cad (this is our hero?!)
Mutated police still are attracted to human women, could be bad for women w/ Aspergers (they might get coerced easier)
Mutant police have a hatred for human males
Aliens find human females attractive
If you're in the Law Enforcement/Military, there is a chance you'll get mutated
Family/Friends might be in the affected cities

So that is why I'd rather have a DN apocolypse then a zombie one. :D
