I've been over-eating potato chips for my whole life and I wish I could eat a whole bag every day, but I've had to recently only eat the serving size of it; I was supposed to not have any because of my new pediatrician but I became temporarily insane and convinced my mom to let me eat only a serving and I'm currently having problems with it. When I'm waiting to eat a serving and after I eat a serving, I'm constantly obsessing about it, I sometimes even dream about it! I've thought of absolutely everything and it's driving me crazy! If anyone has any suggestions, it would help me immensely.

Baked patoto chips are much better than they used to be. Also, your craving might be from an essential fatty acid deficiency. Do you get any fish or cold-pressed olive oil in your diet?

I guess maybe you could gradually cut town, like try 7 bags/week, then 6, then 5... just gradually though to wean yourself off of them

Well they also make fat free olestra ones. I suggest if you're going to eat a lot of them, you eat ones that are baked, made with olestra or at least not made with hydrogenated oil.

Eat other tasty snacks, too, like sushi, carrots with hummus, or salad with low-fat dressing.
