Wonder what Average hight of a man with AS. This isn't a completely irrelevant question.
As their is many evolutionary factors that dictate a man's height and would effect a aspie
man differently then an NT man.

It would be interesting to know why aspie average hight is different then NTs.

I don't think having AS affects a persons height in any way, there are really tall aspies that I know as tall as 6 ft 6 and that really is tall and there are some that are pretty short or really short.

But that though I'm not too 100% sure about.

6'6" is not REALLY tall. I am almost 6'4" and i am a female aspie. I count really tall at 7 foot plus.

I still call 6 ft 4 tall but then again I'm short so yea, it does explain why I see 6 ft as tall.

I think there is probably little or no correlation.

That said, aspies do often display dietary habits which can lead to poor nutrition, which would stunt growth. I recall that due to poor nutrition, North Koreans are on average six inches shorter than South Koreans. And North Koreans are often reduced to eating grass and grubs; I don't think that an aspie would have as dissimilar a diet from one's NT neighbors as a North from a South Korean.

Nutrition does have a lot to do with whether or not someone reaches their highest possible height, but since most children are fed by parents and adult height is generally achieved anywhere from 16 to 20 years old, I would say it has no bearing on this.

Anyway, my husband is 6' even.

Almost 100% certain that aspie men are taller. It is easy to understand will a little understanding of evolution, and natual sellection.

To many I guess it would sound silly that aspie men on average should be taller.
I will let you guys have a pot shot and see what you come up with.

It may not be tall where you are, but it is tall for where I am. A woman as tall as you would definitely stand out!
Me, I'm 5'5". I've seen other guys on this board say they were around there as well.

In US culture we see people at 5'10" as being tall. 6'anything" would be really tall. (I'm 5'10" and am told I am tall).

Now that I think about it, I don't know any "non-taller" Aspies. I'm probably the upper end of average at 6', and I know another Aspie (my observation; not his statement), who is 6'9". Others I have met, are 6' +. Additionally, I don't know any uneducated or less-than-intelligent Aspies either.

Why evolution would make aspies taller? Personally I'm really small, don't remenber the numbers, but really small.

I'd be 5' 10" or 1 m 72. That's about average for any male, aspie or neurotypical.
