Thanks guys and gals!

Right now i feel a bit bamboozled from my last exam. Although i am finished, my graduation is not 100% official.

I did a final year project and i just found out i got 3rd place out of 20 projects done. i have no idea how big this is an achievement since i just finished and now i am trying to make sense of everything that has happened.

Right now, i feel like a bag of meat. all beaten up and bruised. i do plan on relaxing for a while. maybe go on a small vacation before i start going into the work force.

Right now my life is a blank canvas but i will get on track in a few months.

Well my idea of a vacation is...PLAYING VIDEO GAMES ALL DAY!

I had to impose on myself an embargo on them and now i am in the process of playing though my back log of games. I went for a day at the spa today and i feel rejuvenated and refreshed. I will be taking a few more weeks off before i begin my hunt for work.

That's great! I am a second year computer science major. I will probably graduate in five years. Computer engineering is a very tough major.

Let everyone know how you do in the workforce. I am definitely rooting for you. And taking six years for a degree is not too bad.

I think people do not understand that 50 years ago or even 30 years ago there was not as much to cover. Information has exploded, and yet the time to finish a degree remains the same.

Thanks Techn0teen

6 years a bit long for engineering but its normal among undergraduates. It was a little long in the tooth but at least i was able complete it at my own pase.

Thats amazing that you are doing computer science and i appreciate the support. As of now, the work force is the farthest thing in my mind and i just wanna game till no tomorrow!

I wish you the best if success in your major!

6 years? So that's what I have to look forward to huh? I've been going to school for 12 years now, and every time I think about it I realize that I'm only beginning to scratch the surface of the educational iceberg. Just 20 something more days, then I'm done for this year. Then 180 more days, and I'll be off to community college. Then 65 credit hours later, I just might be off to a university. Geez. 8O

I took a 4-year from gram but i extended it to 6 so i can take all my courses at my own pace. Most engineers take like 5 to 7 years to complete their degree. How much time you wanna spend in university is entirely up to you.
