I think it has been proven that there is no correlation between race and ASDs. Also, the survey is going to be off anyway since most people around here seem to be from USA, Canada, and the UK where people with various shades of fair skin are the majority. The results might still be interesting, of course, just not very scientific.

I don’t believe there is a single ethnic group where Autism originated from. On the contrary, what I do believe is that there were various groups of people around the globe where Autistic personality traits evolved and subsequently merged from generation to generation, gradually developing into what we now label Autism Spectrum Disorders. I personally believe certain ethnic groups are at increased risk for developing Asperger’s/Autism, however that is simply my hypothesis and I cannot be 100% certain without further research, which could either confirm or disprove my hypothesis. I admit that my surveys are not the most scientific in the world and they are probably not that representative of the entire Autistic population. Nonetheless, I think they are a minute step forward in exploring the multi-ethnic origins of ASD’s.

Looks like I have a 13 and 14, and my sister a 23ish. I burn, and have brown freckles I could give a 28 on your selection. My freckles will get darker alot sooner than anything else. I inheritated a set a freckles right across the back of my shoulders from my Father. My sister can sit out in the sun not very many times, and get a tan way faster than I can ever dream of getting on myself. Genes.. 'sigh'

Very fair. I easily get sunburned as well, and I have never tanned.

I'd say 18 or 19, but I have a lot of freckles (mainly on my face) too, normally associated with very fair skin.

My skin is fair, I have lots of moles/birthmarks (no sunspots/freckles), and keep developing them. I get easily sunburned, but have a nice brownish tint after being in sunlight many times. My hands remain pinkish during summer. Tone is 5/15, perhaps.

my skins 'natural' state is fair to tan (about a 22 on the presented chart), although ethnicly, i'm 100% european white.
although i dont really burn, i rarely tan as well, even over a full summer i maybe gain 2 levels of colour (up to the 24 mark), but that takes work and sun, which i dont really like.

According to the chart posted, I am about a 21 and 22. Actually my skin doesn't really match any of them accurately, and I am probably even a little bit darker, but I picked those ones because they seemed to be the most golden to me. I am fair, of Western and Central European ancestry, but have always had the darkest natural shade of skin in my immediate family. I have golden undertones, and when I was a kid, I could tan easily to a brown colour with no burns at all, while my naturally dark brown hair would turn completely golden.

Doubt it.

Anyways, here's my arm.
I'm of primarily European descent.
