I was just wondering because I was wondering how to tell someone.I told my guru.He than tried a rather eccentric way to teach me empathy.I almost sobbed at his lecture.I would like to know a good way to explain it.I said it is a feeling of confusion caused by emotion and therefore you have issues with social skills and have issues controlling emotion and problems with the senses.I didn't mention the routines(I don't see what I do as a routine but I do have issues with people moving things in my room).I want him to know the most about me and what's my biggest issue so he can help me.I would appreciate a few links so I can review which one is best.Don't get a long one with big words because he can't speak English very well.

It's a huge part of my personality, because I'm sort of structured. And as for telling someone; if they don't understand it just explain. If they don't want to understand, too bad for them. If they CAN'T understand, find a good YouTube video to help explain.

I'm not sure how much a part of my personality it is, since I don't like looking at myself in that way. I'd like to think that my personality would be moreorless the same as it is now if I didn't have Asperger's, but every now and again I slip up and say something unexpected, and I remember that it is the autistic aspects of me that make my personality a little more unique and interesting than it otherwise would be. We're inseparable, but Asperger's isn't the defining feature of my personality.

Autism goes deeper than your personality, it's the way you process the world. I experience the world differently than most people not on the spectrum, especially through my senses and my emotions which usually do not effect my decision making.
It shapes my personality though.

Also, because you don't like people moving things in your room that could mean you have a dislike of some change. You see, if someone moves something in my room I will feel confused and physical discomfort. I might even get angry.

Aspergers makes itself known deep down in the roots of personality - where a normal child's face forms a smile in response to its parent's smile, that circuit doesn't close in the aspie. Awareness of other people, feeling like one of them, all of that doesn't happen for aspies.

Later on, we start to learn about what's missing, and fake the sorts of responses we can see are expected of us, but it doesn't work. Our responses are slower, thought out, whereas a normal person's micro-expressions happen faster than thought. They don't trust us, we can't work it out, and the cycle continues.
