what could getting hot to the point of sweating after you eat?

This usually occurs in the evening. Even taking a drink, a sip of soda sets it off.

I'm not sure. I've experienced a mild version of that when eating really spicy Indian or Thai food, but that's about it. So, this happens regardless of what you eat?
