Every fortnight I buy 6 one litre cartons of long-life milk. Its so much easier than to keep buying fresh milk and worrying about it going off. Is there a nutritional difference between long life milk and fresh milk?

I'd imagine long-life milk has some creepy preservatives.

Long-life milk is ultra heat treated so no preservatives there. :) The heat destroys a small (but pretty much minimal) amount of vitamins, though.

I didn't even know there was such thing as "long-life milk". They don't sell that anywhere around here.

By long-life do you mean pasteurized? By fresh do you mean raw?

Long-life milk: UHT processed, lasts for months if not opened.
Fresh milk: refers to either raw or pasteurized milk, will last only a few days.
