I myself am finding that on an avarage day I attend university and doing things involving interaction with other people, I need at least 10 hours sleep to feel rested. Compared to my peers, this is really a lot, as they seem and claim to do with a lot less (6 to 8). I was wondering if other people have this, and if it is related to AS.

I need at least 8 just for a regular day. 9-10 isn't unreasonable, and more than that if I have sleep deprivation from the previous night.

Depends on how well I get to sleep. It can vary between 45 minutes and 12 hours.

8-9 hours on average, 9-10 if the previous day was fairly tiering.

I need a minimum of 9 hours on average days. If I'm using a lot of energy during the day (i.e. exhausted at the end of every day) I might need 11 or 12.....

Why do my friends seem to only need 6 hours and they're fit again? I have a lot of trouble going to sleep, so when it takes me 3 hours to go to sleep, I spend most of my day in bed. Anyone has got some advice to get rid of this?

In order to feel normal(or as normal as I can be) I need at least 10 hours a night. I can sleep up to 18 hours a day, but when I do that I feel bad for wasting the whole day. But I have to say that I much prefer sleeping to be awake given the choice.

I generally sleep 8-9 hours but if I spend a lot of time in a bright environment I need more than this to recharge.

I sleep for the normal amount of time. Unless like others have mentioned; I've had a day with lots of social interaction, then I would be more tired.

Luckily I haven't spoken to many people for the past few weeks :) I guess that will change when I go back to college :/

I can easily sleep for 10-12 hours, anything less than 8 and I feel tired

I can sleep 9-10 hours, but I feel even more tired afterwards. 7, at most 8 hours is ideal for me. Any amount of social interaction doesn't change this.
