With what system is the Aspie psyche most comfortable with?

[When thinking of either Capitalism, Communism or Socialism please think of textbook theory, let us not quote any events, situations nor places since that might probably de-tour the thread]

I know many anarchist aspies.....guess that's
The thinking out the box thing:

I wish to be governed by nothing less than
my heart. If I had to but a name to it I
Would say libertarian socialism.

We agree on the capitalism part. Well regulated? I submit that government is not a very good regulator. It is prone to corruption and will soon be bought and owned by those it is supposed to regulate. Anarchism is, in theory at least, a much better regulating mechanism. Sane people will by purely pragmatic means find ways of regulating behavior and trade to the general benefit of the community. During the middle ages, regulation of trade was done by guilds in the towns, not governments, which at that time consisted of dudes who rode horses and wielded swords.

Except it isn't in practice.

You know what unregulated capitalism ends in? Oligopoly. And that's just as bad as communism and counter productive for capitalism.

I agree. Also, Socialism would fit aspies well because most of them are atheists, too. Too bad there's no working example of it, with acceptable level of human rights and freedom. :P

Communism, in its utmost Utopian sense, would be much like the Trekkian Federation...

I don't think Anarchism would work in any form.

More or less the same goes for Capitalism that goes for Democracy. "It has been said that democracy is the worst form of government except all the others that have been tried. " /Churchill/

I'd prefer not to use any constricted mindless stereotypes in order to decide what economic political stereotype I live in. It all seems like people are tryint to make concrete ideas out of something as cogent and firm as jelly.

It is both strange (contrary to reason) and usual for systems and doctrines to end up negating themselves. Humans are so damned perverse.

I'm a socialist myself. I recognize that no "pure" system can be a good system. I believe that capitalism and Socialism should be combined in equal parts to keep each other healthy. Perhaps Socialism can be the foundation that keeps the Capitalist structure on top of it from collapsing?

Ultimately the cure for the Disease is a steady self maintaining sense of fairness and justice. I am not going to hold my breath until that happens, however.

Just about any system can work if people stopped being pr*cks long enough.

I think capitalism is a good way because people can be rewarded for hard work and ingenuity. But it would have to be regulated by government and I do not want primary industries to be privately owned.

Yes I believe that primary industries can be socialist and owned by the public, and then on top all the manufacturing and service industries should be private and profit making. Let them do what they want but don't let them expect the taxpayers to rescue their stupid mistakes.
