Do you ever wish you were a child yet?

To be sure, I could get away better with being so befuddled, but I'd miss my wife and daughter too much.

Forgive my ignorance, but I can't find the meaning of paraphilic.
I'd prefer to know what that word means before I answer your question.

It means people who get very turned on by being treated like children. In this instance, it would be sexual but it doesn't have to be.

Of course not. We just have to be tough.

Ok but what should we do?

What we -should do- is dismantle the Welfare State but that is not going to happen and restore personal and individual responsibility. And if you are charitable then let the charity come from your wallet, not someone else's.

no single solution or ideal can handle the variety of our world,
to think that something as simple and short sighted as "abandoning teh welfare state" will work anywhere but the us.

in many parts of the world the "welfare state" actually helps the buisness enviroment,

Can someone help me understand the dynamics here.

In history, many great leaders successfully removed oppressors through peace. Ghandi was one.

Oh Really? Have you heard of Kashmir? Also 4 million people were killed in the processes of dividing India into two countries. Ghandi was a supercalloused fragile mystic plagued with halitosis. He also advised the Jews to bare their throats to the Nazis. As far as I am concerned he should cook in the same furnace as Mother Terrisa for the next billion years.

Well to be honest I know almost nothing about Ghandi besides a movie I watched. I probably also read a paragraph or two about him on wikipedia over the years.

Is it really that bad? Did he really do all those things? I guess there aren't any real heroes in history. Thats very sad.

very depressing..

Ok but I was referring to the thought experiment in which I mentioned a possibility that Muslims could be united under a leader holding the flag of peace. You said that Ghandi was no good.

So I thought you were saying that there is no such thing as peace or that there is no such thing as a hero that could unite a people through peace. Did I misunderstand?

Your clearly directing your words to someone else?
Am I expected to talk to you?
In this case, no.

No harm done.
Awareness has risen.
The evil in my soul has sunk.
The good in your soul has proven its effiency.

Your a potential.
You cant be my leader unfortunately.
I am lead by closer combatants last, and strategists first.
Distant combat is a secondary skill for me.
...
Physical weapons are required for distant combat.
I leave them aside now.
A master knife thrower can throw almost anything and cause dammage with it.
A mechanicians toolbox, containing alot of screwdrivers is really good. Portable.
Only he who requests service will have a service done to him.
Is the pain of walking because you car isn't working big? You can call my friend hes really good with fixing cars.
Is the pain of you computer not working big? You can call me.
Were all a bunch of nice guys.
My friend playing footbal? You should see him. He is small, yet outrun the biggest. When I dribeled with him before, not only could I not fint him ... I could actually not touch the ball when he had it under his legs. 8)
