Why are gay guys attracted to me?

Back when I was in high school a girl asked me if I wanted to have a one-night-stand threesome with her and her boyfriend and I said no because it's really wierd and she was kind of a whore. After I turned her down she must have told people and people started thinking that I was gay and then these two gay guys started fighting over me for months. They were friends before that and then they became enemies over me. It was kind of creepy, but I guess it was also kind of flattering. It was kind of nice when they competed over me by offering to carry my stuff. I'm a boarderline straight asexual with no interest in either of them but I couldn't turn that offer down. I never told either of them that I'm not gay, but I think they eventually figured it out.

Well, there's the obvious: looks. If you're a handsome male, then gay guys would be interested. But if you went a long time letting them think you're gay without telling them that you're not, that's not going to make the situation any better.

I guess I'm kind of handsome. There are some girls who I've been aware of being attracted to me, some who I've suspected of being attracted to me, and probably more. Girls don't seem to be as open with it as gay guys though. I probably should have told them, but I got kind of tired of saying it after I had already told people many times that I'm not gay earlier in high school and in middle school.

People being attracted to you can be very frustrating. Honestly, I don't think a person can get an accurate opinion on their looks unless they ask for another person's opinion & are seen by a person they are asking. Also, from what I can tell attraction is a very individual thing.

I have been hit on by gay men at least three times once in high school and twice in my twenties. Ever since I got fat I have had no other advances. Perhaps it is because I come off as "different"s.

As I said in another topic, gay guys generally won't even acknowledge your existence if you're not slim and beautiful. Which partly explains why I haven't had a boyfriend since 2003.

It works in the other direction, too.

Tell me about it. :? I've found myself many times wishing that I was straight, simply because women seem to be much more interested in me than gay men.

The guy that hit on me in high school was always kidding me about my abs when we were in gym. He kept telling me coul not wait to see how they look after basic training. Now he is fat just like me. LoL. The only exception is he is married with two kids. I always wonder if his wife knows?

Probably because you "look" and "act" more gay than straight.

This seems to happen to me as well,.. But i am bisexual,... and do not try to act that way,...
i suppose there are subconscious gestures and mannerisms,.. that i dont realise i use.
Perhaps you display these gestures and mannerisms,.. or a few of them. or what they mistake to be those gestures.

Why was she the only one who is classified as a whore? (Slight misogyny there.)

Why didn't you call her boyfriend a whore? How do you know it wasn't his idea or if he told others you were gay?

And why would two best friends fight over you?

Does this seem logical to you that so many people (even high school students who have nothing else to do but strange, time wasting activities like this) would revolve their lives around you and your perceived sexuality?

This is an offensive post on so many accounts. What purpose does it serve being in the LGBT section when you don't identify as G or B? Not even neurotypical straight guys talk about gay guys hitting on them-- that is so 1990s.

Maybe ten years ago when I was 18 and weighed 135 lbs...

...but right now, on a good day I look like Seth Rogen. (I don't have any recent pics online and my digital camera is broke, sorry.) Straight women just seem to care more about personality than looks. Every time I'm in public, I see a hot piece of ass with her arm around a shaved ape. That ape probably has something interesting to talk about every now and then and doesn't ask her to make him a sandwich after sex.

I would make an awesome boyfriend for a straight girl. Gay guys, on the other hand, in general put looks first and anything else is a very distant second.
