I'm really happy about my upcoming job. I originally applied for the internship, but my interviewer said that someone with a holistic approach/and who was motivated qualified for a leadership position. I was flustered, but at the end she offered me a paid leadership job as field manager. I will be in charge of working on leading and training members to go out in neighborhoods to find donors to our campaigns such as ACLU and Amnesty.

I can't wait! Does anyone have advice or experience working for grassrootscampaigns or similar campaign type organizations?

Always be pleasant, even when someone slams a door in your face.

Haha, good point. I'm sure it'll happen with this kinda job. I'll try to prevent it.
