They are my brothers and I'm the older brother. One is fourteen years old. If I left after his mother left, after our cat died. I don't think he'd be able to handle that. It would be the breaking point for his little heart. I'm the older brother. That doesn't mean I don't get to complain from time to time.

I have no problem with going to a movie alone, but I would feel really weird eating at a restaurant by myself. (My NT ex feels the opposite way!)

Eating alone at home is fine, luckily (otherwise I'd starve to death!)

I like eating alone if I'm more or less alone, but I hate eating alone if its amongst other people (if that makes sense).

I don't like to eat alone in crowded/noisy places; it makes me feel sort of vulnerable?

Makes perfect sense, I am the same way. There are family members in this home and thus I want to eat with them.

It's the opposite for me, I don't like eating in front of other people. Probably because of the social interaction involved but I think part of it is just way I was raised. We never ate at the table as a family and my dad is extremely health conscious so I feel guilty about eating any unhealthy food.

Eating alone at a restaurant would be weird tho agreed.

Most of the time I'll eat alone, I don't mind and I prefer to eat alone than with other people to be honest because I don't like eating around people.
