I would like to know how much of a sound reduction you are looking for,

When I am working with noisy tools I tend to use 3M E-A-R Classic Earplugs, these are cheap and cheerful ear defenders which allow you to use things like petrol mowers, chainsaws and guns but I will say that the automatic gain control (AGC) on your ears tends to turn up the gain a bit. I find that I become more aware of sound transmitted via my jaw. Eating crunchy foods while wearing ear defenders is a noisy experience. The world will sound rather different when wearing ear defenders.

But from what I know the effect of the ears trying to turn up the gain is more than compensated by the attenuation of the sound by the ear defenders.

The idea of the ear defenders is that when the thunder clap occurs the ear is too slow to turn down the gain, so too much energy is transfered into the inner ear. But the less sound energy can pass through the ear plug. As a result you still hear a bang when you use a gun or stand near an explosion but you do not damage or overwhelm the inner ear.

I have worn ear defenders when explosions have occured in a lecture hall, I find that wearing 3M ear plugs allows me to hear the explosion better as you never overwhelm your ears, as a result the intial shock wave does not make the AGC of your ears bottom out in the split second after it hits you. As a result your get to hear the sound reverbing around the room better.

Diagnosed under the DSM5 rules with autism spectrum disorder, under DSM4 psychologist said would have been AS (299.80) but I suspect that I am somewhere between 299.80 and 299.00 (Autism) under DSM4.

Why not post a commnt on the person's video asking them where they got them? If they aren't sold where you live, you might could find a way to get the people in the video to pick you up a pair and mail them to you and you could pay them for them.

LOL, I just went to look at their comments and somebody already posted that.

That's what I get for not being thorough ;-)

I still don't know if I'm missing something, because they've been identified and a UK source located.
