They look like the ones that you would wear on the ground at a Airport, next to planes.

They will sell them at a shooting range as well as probably any sporting goods store that carries supplies for shooting.

I've tried a couple different ones, though and I will recommend the ones that aren't as bulky because I think they are more comfortable. Also, the ones that have the two metal rods that structure the head band. Avoid the ones that have all plastic head bands because those will break. I have a pair now that has a solid metal head band and I don't like that as much as the kind that have the two metal rods. I think my pair with this solid metal band squeeze too hard. I like the deep pressure, but I wear glasses so this doesn't feel good for very long. And without my glasses on the pressure I think is just in the wrong place, because there are arteries there that should not be pressed on for a long time.

I recommend investing in the nicest pair though. I invested in a nice pair of Bose headphones and these actually cut out a lot of noise when not even playing anything in them. Playing quiet brown noise into them can be very nice sometimes. I've had them for two years now and they are as clean and work as well as the day I bought them.

Yeah, that way you don't have to try to get used to a new type.

Do you know the people who put up the video? Could you ask them where they got their pair?

Got a still image of the video you linked to. Should be enough of an image to go on.

Found this site:
http://soundproofing.org/infopages/ear_muffs.htm
The red pair looks like the one in the video.

But I'm wondering whether you need this exact pair, because your head can't be shaped exactly the same as this guy's is. I mean--you should probably be trying out different pairs, and seeing what feels right for you.

those red earmuffs look exactly like the ones i have. they are a brand called Silencio

http://www.google.com/search?q=silencio ... 68&bih=900

I don't know if you just really want them to say Big 5 on the side, but those in the video look exactly like mine even if the brand is different.

I think they're them. The real name of them.

Says you can get "Private branding is available for this earmuff". That might be why its blacked out on that website above. That "Callista" link if clicked, then click on the image.

http://www.jacksonsafety.com/linkdetail ... id=3005521

Edit:- Hows the branding stuck on Merculangelo might just be able to get some sticker making paper & stick it in a printer? If she wants different branding or a stencil & some paint spray?

I tried to zoom in on the manufacturer logo and sharpen it. It's still unreadable, but perhaps somebody recognizes the brand:

Edited to add: I also posted a question on youTube. The comment is currently pending approval, so there is a good chance that the uploader will read it. Perhaps they happen to know the brand.

Looks like that's exactly them, and they're available directly from the UK:

you see the headphones in this video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fEZCcf8o ... p5PPN50%3D

and skip to 4:19 - 4:25 in this video - you see them here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zu0p7AFq ... -yc3CAk%3D
