I think so too Sylkat but I thought I'd be kind just in case.

I read Mommie, Dearest; also in Jackie Cooper's autobiography he talked about her a bit - it wasn't too flattering.

Kirk Douglas dated her one time...

He wrote in his autobiography that she proudly showed him her son, asleep, strapped into his bed with leather straps, just Iike Christina wrote in 'Mommie Dearest'.

She was proud of the way she treated those kids!

Dear glow, that is an excellent picture or montage....where is that comment from....a letter, maybe?

The picture and written comment, juxtaposed, rather sum up her life, I think.

I thought that some of these pictures which are used in her quotes would have been recognized, as I only used some of her famous ones. The least obscure was from someone's private archives, probably with copyright legislature.

I recognize all of the photos except the one of people on the sofa, and all but the first quote.

It's an easy answer. Yes, there have been many actresses since as, or more beautiful, but she has one thing going for her that most of them never did or could: a good mystery.
