Figure C. But I'm not sure this was always the case. I always had some issues with my balence and would sometimes feel like I would tip over when I was walking slowly. I also have very narrow, long feet. I think by turning my toes outward, I have improved my balence in my old age.

I know it's very common in ASD to "walk on toes". I'm wondering if it's also common to be pigeon toed (toes pointing in) or duck toed as some people call it (toes pointing out).

I was born pigeon-toed (the medical term was Bilateral Metatarsus Primus Varus). I wore casts as an infant, followed by corrective shoes.

If my feet were not corrected, I would have either been either a “toe-walker” or more likely unable to walk.

Outward I guess I dunno. As a young child before I can even remember I had a lot of problems with my legs I guess, I dunno what exactly was the issue but my mom says they wanted to like break my legs and put me in leg braces. My parents didn't think it was necessary and AFAIK it hasn't caused me any real issues. L

Looking at them now, yea they do look messed up. 8O

My toes point outward, but I've never really paid much attention to that or had anyone else say anything about how I walk or try to change it. I don't and never did toe-walk, but I do often stand on the sides of my feet (which sometimes makes other people ask if my feet hurt, but no it's just a comfortable way to stand for me).

My left foot points straight, my right points out. My right knee also points out slightly and the angle that it it hinges is slightly oblique. My mom noticed the foot thing when we in the mall one day. (Fatigue from extra walking makes it more prominent) I only noticed the issue w/ my knee after I took up walking for exercise a couple years ago. Obviously, something is wrong with that leg.

When I was little I toe walked and I think I might have been a little duck toed but I have since learned to walk correctly.

Mine point outward. When I was a child I also "rolled" my feet to the outside [not consciously] and always got in so much trouble for wearing out the outer soles of my shoes.

My feet are the same, my left foot is straight, and my right foot wants to point outward. My knees however point slightly inward. And I tend to walk on the outside edges of my feet.

I think my entire right leg is twisted, like it is turned out a bit at the hip. If I focus on straightening it out while I walk I can keep my right foot straight. But when I get tired it goes back out.
