Anime was a huge obsession for me growing up as a child and throughout my teen years. I still enjoy it and watch it occasionally, as well as draw in an anime-influenced style, but it's not really a major obsession anymore.

Anime I've seen over the past couple of years and enjoyed:

Puella Magi Madoka Magica
Blue Exorcist
Tiger & Bunny
Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt

Pretty good list you have there. Enjoyed Madoka Magica a ton, Panty and Stocking sort of got me into my current obsession of anime and currently watching Tiger and Bunny.

But yes, anime has been one of my most prominent obsessions as of late. It helped me get through a lot of crap in the last year and a half. I have been labeled a weaboo but I really don't care. What has been harder to come by though is people to discuss anime with. I tend to like the less mainstream anime and a lot of slice of life shows, as well as magical girl stuff and emotionfests, as opposed to longrunners such as Bleach, Naruto and Inuyasha.

Here are some shows I watch(ed) that I could discuss freely:
Madoka Magica (please...)
Baccano!
The iDOLM@STER
K-On!
Angel Beats
Haruhi Suzumiya
Nichijou
Black Rock Shooter
Fairy Tail
Clannad
Gurren Lagann
The List goes on...

Thanks, glad you like my taste in anime. :) Oh yeah, I've seen Black Rock Shooter too. Forgot to mention that one. That's a good one. I also saw a couple of episodes of Angel Beats, Fairy Tail, K-On! and Haruhi but never got around to finishing them.

The internets are really trying to stop people watching anime online that you can't get on dvd subtitled.

I watch quite a bit of anime, my current total of seen all anime is 258 titles, majority of which from the last several years, a pretty full list HERE although it looks a bit daunting.

It seems some of you have seen Madoka, I remember watching that while it was coming out, made quite a bit of discussion on the anime forum I frequent, I have been showing it to my 10 year old bro as I get the DVDs, and I have got three figures, one each of Homura, Sayaka, and Kyouko. It wiki page makes for a good read. I thought it was kind of funny that the twelfth episode ended up playing on good Sunday.

Happy that some of you have seen Black Rock Shooter, I was rather pleased with that one, I hope to get it on DVD because I don't think it's graphics were properly shown over the computer screen.

This the part of season where current running shows are finishing, with the new ones starting in the next couple weeks, I already saw of a recent favourite of mine off, Dusk Maiden of Amnesia, I am happy with it.

I used to get quite sad over a finishing shows, still do, but they can be fun.

Want to try a movie, maybe check out Summer Wars, it is pretty good.

I appreciate the art style, but was never a big fan of the books/shows. The only manga book I own is Rebecca Jeltsch's Das Ich because it contained characters that were members of the band das Ich.
