This is the bounciest and most upbeat "Jesus Christ Superstar" cover I have ever heard. It's intriguing because it's so unexpected. I expect it to be full of angst and drama, like the whole score usually is, but you went and made it lighthearted. Very interesting.

i generally play everything with either a ragtime or pseudo jazzy feel. sometimes it offends people. my girlfriend's mother was majorly unimpressed at my rendition of the "wedding march" and "he ain't heavy", both of which she felt i played "irreverently".

i removed the song (JCS) from my soundclick page due to potential copyright infringement.

Hey, my first post to this part of the forum, I haven't really talked to anyone about my music for about a year, as I stopped making it two years ago after some depression and dropping out of university.

But anyway, if anybody is interested in the following ambiguous words often used to classify music, give it a shot I guess... Harsh criticism appreciated.

Acid (not anything like Acid House): Jenna

Baroque/Acid: A Friend Made Of Acid

Industrial/Breakcore/Ambient/Gabba: Lets Be Super Best Friends

Smurfhop (I made it up, f**k you): Smurfhop

Who knows? Maybe somebody on this forum liking this music might actually convince me to give it another try. But seriously, my most listened to track on Soundcloud is some Kate Bush Cutup I did in about 10 minutes (1K+ listens) and it saddens me.

Edit: I'm over my 3 hour limit by 281 minutes, even after I purged about 2 hours off it... Soundcloud sucks.

I like Baroque Rock from the Sixties (e.g., "Walk Away, Renee" by the Left Banke).

Here is some of my music, it is shamanistic singing so this might be weird to some people:

And a song my son and I did together:

I've leave this one here then ^^

A few random bits and bobs from a few periods when I was doing all kinds of music stuff, including the time when I was vocalist in a few metal bands and some later, more electronic oriented stuff. If only I didn't bin every thing I did, lol. #musiciansproblem

This is my full album of my solo band. The style i play is hybrid between First Wave Black Metal, Old School Death Metal, and Crust/Hardcore Punk. I've done all the instruments and vocal.

So I had this dream and decided to compose some music about it. Any fellow synth proggers like me out there, it's a Yamaha TX7. The patches are all mine, and I've expanded my use of the TX by adding filters and envelopes in Absynth as well as other FX processors in Logic Pro. Very simple motion background made in Blender. Lots more of these to come.

Hi, I'm a kind of musician or electronic music producer. I make weird music, experimental, ambient, a bit techno, a bit indie rock, a bit post rock feel, a bit Neo-Classical. Well, my favourite bands are These New Puritans, especially their latest effort 'Field of Reeds', Radiohead, Adult Jazz, Foals, and Autechre, Kraftwerk, Aphex Twin, Death Grips. I try to mix what is generally associated with indie rock (guitar, bass guitar, drum kit) with synth and samples as well as brass and strings arrangements. A few people called my music electronic free jazz.

So, it can be found here:

The most important are the latest and 'Rawffull'. I am not very experienced though. And play only the laptop, but hopefully one day I could play the guitar and keyboards. Well, I'd like to play all instruments, but that would take me a lifetime, I guess.

Thanks!

If you want to sing along to the meow meow parts in the chorus, notice that there are 9 meows in 3 groups of 4, 2 and 3 with the very last meow drawn out longer (meowww) so it could almost count as a meow and a half. That makes nine and a half meows per chorus, a new record for me.

Since there are two choruses in this performance of the song, that makes eighteen meows in all per song (or nineteen if you count those longer meows as extra). Sadly this is nowhere near a personal record for me in terms of numbers of meows per song. The new chorus record stands though.
