I have 392 friends on FB. But 99% are Game friends.

I used to have like 300 or so people, but then realized I really didn't care about most of these people, and they didn't care about me - so it was all for show, like it is for everyone else.

So I started cutting "friends" there and ended up with 11. It's just a few friends and few family people I actually want to hear about and from, and who actually want to know what's up with me. If I didn't have them on it, though, I wouldn't be on Facebook at all anymore. It's really stupid beyond just staying in touch.

I'm a little late to this thread. But I have roughly 1100 Facebook friends as of right now (at least half of those FB friends I have met in real life at some point).

I don't get the FB concept whatsoever. So pointless. I have one friend on there, and that's only because she's living across the other side of the world so we don't see each other for years on end (and she was my childhood friend). I don't want all my personal details online and I don't know why other people do.

I got over 200 and I keep trying to get rid of most of them. Idiots.

Why don't you just unfriend them if you want to get rid of them?

I think it's pretty pointless having an active and non-anonymous facebook account with less than 30 friends, that's sort of like entering a famous funky house club while weighing more than 440 pounds or smelling like vomit.

People will judge you for it and you will get social difficulties because of it.

If you're lacking friends then you should pretty much stay out of the facebook zone, there are many sick minded people who could destroy your life via that medium, not having enough friends is a valid reason for them to hunt you down, trust me.

When I still had my Facebook, I had well over 250 friends. I know quite a lot of people who moved to different areas, and even different countries.

I have around 120 friends. I mostly just use it to comment on statuses and sometimes use the chat feature.

I'm glad I got rid of my profile, I had a bunch of "friends" I didn't even know.

I have 132 friends on FB. However, most of those are people who if I walk by in real life, ignore me. Completely and utterly. One of them is my ex-friend who I'm still trying to get up the courage to ask why we stopped being friends. I don't talk to 80% of the people on there. So, if you think you're still a loner, you might be. Try starting a conversation in FB chat, maybe.
