Anything other than sickly stick-thin or grossly obese. So long as she's healily in the middle somewhere, we can get to the important task of what's between her ears!

Someone posted this... this is very nearly perfect, in my humble opinion. Pardon me while I space out and drool for a while... ;)

This. Yeah, looks matter to guys. But women shouldn't take that to mean that we only find one type attractive. And they certainly shouldn't assume that the media's ideal woman is our ideal woman.

Although that song is surprisingly accurate (When I like someone, then whatever their body type is I genuinely like it) I do have some preferences of body type. I like curves, although I find them more pleasing to the eye when they are subtle, and proportionate to each other. I think somewhere between "banana" and "hourglass" might do the trick, although I hadn't really thought about it until now (protip: don't use the word "petite" on google image search while having SafeSearch deactivated 8O So very glad there was nobody behind me!)

lol I know that song hahhaha funny.

Is overweight/thin a body type?

This interests me-

there's a lot of descriptors like "hourglass", "athletic", etc but either of those (for instance) could include a wide variety of sizes.

Curious.

For instance, I was an hourglass @ 215, and am still one @ 115.

Got to be on the chubby side for me. Anything from a little overweight or curvy to large is fine.
As long as she can still take nice walks and not have too many weight-related medical problems.

Speaking of my own body, I am not a chubby person myself. I am very skinny and find it hard to gain weight at all. I have been considering weight training. However, there is a maxinum weight threshold for dating that I use.

I'm surprised some of you consider chubby and curvy as more or less the same!

I always considered curvy women as women with an hourglass shape but not chubby. For example Monica Bellucci and Marilyn Monroe.

Well, I personallyl ike my ideal body to be not overweight, yet having thick thighs and not too boney. I'm currently happy with that, but I still always like dieting since every girl I know diets so I get caught up with the flow. I think if I liked girls I would like them to be curvy, but not overweight, since it shows they take care and all of that while also being huggable.

Wow, so you lost a lot of weight? That's really great for you. I'm a pear shape, but my pear shape gets smaller when I lose weight, so I like to keep some curves on me and not get too skinny.
