I've just started getting bulk tea and I've been going on about it for a month or two now. I've got Chun Mee Green, Early Grey, Rooibos, Chamomile, and a *large* list of items like orange peel and cloves and lavender and jasmine and hibiscus and so on to mix with them to get different flavors, and some with medicinal value (I *swear* by elderflower tea for congestion). I'm buying different kinds by the pound and I'm about to get an entire cabinet to store all the different tins and containers I have because there are so many. making it and drinking it and researching the history and botany and ceremony behind the different kinds is rapidly becoming a central part of my day and a very soothing ritual.

I'm also obsessed with different types of tea. I enjoy my tea and I have to have it every afternoon.

Ummm... I wrote a book on tea in middle school. Does that count as obsessed?

Yes. I have so many kinds of tea in my cupboard.

I usually have Earl Grey or English Breakfast in the morning.
Then Green tea from Japan with lunch.
Maybe some Assam tea with biscuits in the afternoon.
Peppermint tea when I have an upset stomach.
And before bed I have a cup of chamomile tea which helps me go to sleep.
I also have Tazo Chai and Calming Infusion tea from Marks & Spencer.
I love Jasmine tea too but I'm out of it right now. I need to get some.

Coffee and I do not get along, so I have spent quite a bit of time enjoying tea.

My friend gave me a box of Celestial Seasonings' Red Rooibos, which has a picture of a lion on the box that looks like Aslan from the series The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. I am very fond of it, I am not sure it is carried in stores anymore.

Today I drank orange spice. I used to love Chais of all sorts, I probably could have some made with almond or soy milk these days because I am not drinking milk.

Once, I ordered a pound of loose green tea because of the health benefits. I kept it in it's large ziplock bag in the freezer and people would laugh when they discovered it because it looked like drugs ;)

I got a little tea steeper thingy (sorry forgot the words for it) that is a rubber ducky that floats in your tea with the wire mesh part down in the hot water. I haven't used it yet, but it is very cute and I can see myself collecting these novelty tea accessories because I am easily entertained.

Have you tried dandelion tea or tea with rose hips? I highly recommend either.

I have four drawers of the stuff, and drink it more than water. I' ve recently been trying green teas from China and Japan-- I think my fave so far is Bi Lo Chun. If anyone wants to try some excellent varieties, check out Golden Moon Tea' s site.

I thought it was only me! I was obsessed for a few years till a couple years ago. I have about 15 flavors, all lined up in identical bottles on a shelf, as a good aspie does. :-) My favorite is Lapsang Souchung, can't get enough of it, as the aroma of smoked wood brings back happy childhood memories.

I'm beginning a special interest in mineral water, a very important compliment to tea making

Besides water and the occasional diet soda, Crystal Light Iced Tea is the only beverage I'll drink. Before I changed my diet around, I used to drink a sugared-iced tea manufactured by a local company. I'd say I love my ice tea, not obsessed, but very picayune as to what kind I'll drink.

I've just started trying Rooibos and I ADORE it. it's like drinking late summer. I used to be a big chamomile fan but now I'm thinking rooibos may be what I switch to when I make my own no-caf mixes.

I once splurged and made my tea with mineral water. The difference is amazing. Unfortunately, because I can't afford it. Anyone tried with filtered tap water? Is there a difference with unfiltered tap water?

Lets's see... I drink tea in the morning, tea in school, tea when i come home and about 3 mugs at random intervals. Commonly i drink Earl Grey with a squirt of honey sirup, but i can use alternatives such as camomille, green tea and chocolate tea (yes, it exists). I think i may be drinking more tea than water, but what can you say, it practically fuel for me.

I dunno about 'obsessed' but I have a whole cabinet of tea.

It is a constant battle not to buy more until I drink some of the stockpile up. I fail at this often.
