I feel that I'm motivated enough to handle a part-time job. I feel that I have the drive and the spark. However, I do have some emotional issues that I'm trying to clear up. Issues that seem to be unique to only myself. Do you think that a part-time job will help me to keep my Mind off my issues, or do you think that my issues are too much of a burden for me to be able to hold down a job, quite yet. Should I start working now, or should I wait another year?

Hi cockneyrebel. Not sure if I'm the best person to be answering this, but I'll give it a go, if you don't mind! Here's what I think: if you feel that you are ready, or even if you are unsure but curious, then why not give it a go? What, exactly, are you worried about? (That question wasn't meant to sound harsh, am genuinely curious about the precise nature of your worry - but completely understand that you may not wish to divulge that to me!)

A part time job is great idea. You will be able to take your mind off your issues by focusing on the task at hand -- achieving some degree of mindfulness -- and finding a little peace, a little balance. You can quit anytime if it gets too much, but I think it will help. Getting a paycheck always makes me happy.

Agree with MeshGearFox. Go for it! Get a part time job. Think of it as an expiriment and see how it goes. It's not like you are married to the job or anything. If it doesn't work out, just quit and try again later.
