Rob Zombie music can't seriously be considered metal. Well I'm not sure about these days, but their music seem like Pop to me.

Pop is song with only techno or moderate guitar work, the lyrics are happy. Vocals are clean. Zombie still uses lots of guitar work, grunts and growls are common. Lyrics focus on death and necrophilla.

He's still metal.

How many times do I have to say Evanesence is not Gothic Rock? I'm listening to a Gothic Rock band right now (The Cure) which is a hundred times more Goth, and only a few of thei Albums were in that style!

I like Iron Maiden, Helloween, Symphony X, Edguy, Blind Gaurdian, Dark Moor, Gamma Ray, Sabaton, Finntroll and Korpiklaani. Probably forgetting something... oh well. I'm not real into growling vocals with the sole exception of Finntroll.

Kurtman: There's a lot of hype about Dream Theater but I wasn't really that impressed with any of their music.

edit: Hammerfall, that's it.
