This burger was cooked 14 years ago, although you wouldn't know it looking at the picture.

It's scary when there are so many preservatives in your food that you can't even tell when it's passed it's due.

Last time I ate at Mickey D's it made me sick and it's hard to make me sick.

I hate eating at McDonald's. The grease itself is just too much, the preservatives just make me sick thinking about it.

My sister is obsessed with it.

I don't know what the fuss is about, it looks like a typical thin fast food hamburger that has completely dried out, like a stale piece of bread. So of coarse it wouldn't be moldy or look that different from a freshly cooked burger . You guys are acting like it looks new, glimmering with grease and all haha. It might as well be a chip! What strikes me as a bit shocking is the couple's decision to keep a burger for fourteen years. Why aren't they put on display like the fourteen year old burger?

Or maybe, as McDonald's doesn't decompose, if we eat McDonald's more - - we'll be immortal!
After all, you are what you eat!

Another half-truth foisted upon a gullible public.

For the record: Nothing decomposes in the absence of water. Preservatives have absolutely nothing to do with this result.

If you take a 100% organic beef burger and treat it in the same fashion as this McDonald's burger has been treated (dry it out and leave it undisturbed) it won't rot, either. Indeed if you remove the moisture from any food, it won't rot.

On the other hand, if you put a McDonald's burger into a platic bag, it will be consumed by microscopic organisms very quickly.

There is nothing more vicious than the credible lie, spoken as truth.

Drying is a millennia-old means of preserving food.

In a nutshell if you don't like McDonald's don't eat there.
I don't.

Same here, for me. I used eat McDonald's a lot along with other fast food, gained lots of weight. Made me sick to much, so I cut back on fast food.

I stopped at Taco Bell on the way home which is probably no better but I had a hankering for tacos, anyway.
McDonald's is the one that made me sick.
I got sick from Pizza Hut a long time ago but that's not really fast food.
It takes a lot to make me sick.

What do you expect? It's fast food - cheap and produced quickly. Of course it's not going to be particularly good for you. I've never gotten sick from fast food before, just fatter.

From the Romero Institute:

Dr. N.S. Sherlock has discovered that salt and dry air preserve food.
