Leg bouncing. I do this constantly when I am sitting down if I am stressed and a lot on my mind
Rubbing fingers together..I do this sometimes if I am feeling overwhelmed, my autistic daughter does this too.
Pacing.
Constantly sniffing/smelling things
Constantly biting things and wanting to put my teeth into things

I guess it would fall under that umbrella. I get the urge to bite a lot, so I try to keep it to my knuckles. I always have gum on me too. I rub my toes rather than my fingers, but I do have "monkey toes". :)

My knuckles are covered with calluses from my chewing my fingers all the time. They look like this picture (dermatillomania): Image

I suggest that stimming is a behaviour that reduces stress

(although I have not found it to do that...
in fact,
I believe it is just a factor that ACCOMPANIES Aspergers Syndrome

...another co-morbidity!

It's not a comorbidity if it's part of the definition.

Except for sniffing and smelling things I do all of those, the leg bouncing especially. The psychiatrist who diagnosed me seemed to think they could be considered self-stimulatory behaviour.
