Now, elsewhere on this BBS, I did a review blog of various Doctor Who audio dramas, especially ones made by Big Finish (the thread in question being here). I recommend that Doctor Who fans go and have a look at the Big Finish audios, as many are as good, or even better, than the TV shows.

But there is more to radio and audio drama/comedy than this. I have listened to The Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy, which started as a radio series, as well as the first part of the BBC Radio adaptation of The Lord of the Rings. And they are both quite excellent. It seems that the British, at least, have gotten radio dramas and comedies down to a fine art, though I haven't listened to any Australian or American ones.

So, anyone else enjoy stories in this medium?
