Best ways of keeping a relaxed state?

What do think are good ways of preventing you from getting either too excited, focused, obsessed, wound up about things?

Taking deep breaths? Yoga? General exercise etc?

I think the only surefire way to this is by maintaining healthy self-esteem. With high confidence there is no room for anxiety. Head remains clear, constitution stands strong.

In terms of activities, I would recommend martial arts or becoming generally quite fit. Working out releases endorphins, so that helps you feel good. Take out extra energy, accomplish goals, etc. Living in a productive-reward cycle is living a life of raw benefit.

A daily exercise routine goes a long way toward helping stave off depression and anxiety. Plenty of sunlight helps, too - vitamin D is good for mental and emotional stability.
