What kind of nonsense is this?

Treat gangrene with vitamins?

What kind of person would even take that at all seriously?

Why do you think it's nonsense? Our bodies need a certain level of vitamins and minerals for optimal functioning.

Yes. When our body is at it's best, it will keep those bugs at bay.

Do you really believe that?

I have never heard of anyone being too healthy to get the flu, gangrene, hantavirus, rabies, ... .

If a person is unhealthy, they'd get those on a more regular basis because their immune system is impaired and unable to fight them off. Infections will take longer to heal or trigger other complications. Our bodies should be able to protect itself. I'm not suggesting popping pills. Eating a well balanced diet full of meats and veggies, is a start.

I can say for an empirical fact that I am much healthier since I changed my diet to a low-acidic variety. no more recurrent sinus infections, for one.

Our bodies do need nutrients, but not in the levels recommended by the vitamin crowd. For example, to get the same amount of vitamin C found in some tablets, one would need to eat a rosehip the size of a watermelon. Our bodies simply didn't evolve to deal with the amount of nutrients commonly found in vitamins and other supplements.

Some reading. While I still believe germ theory is technically correct, it's not really that simple for the simple fact that some things/people get sick from germs and others do not. Why is this so? You'd say "oh, well, their immune system must be stronger?" Now, WHY is their immune system stronger?

The ignorance of whoever wrote that is incredible!

Treatment

You should seek immediate medical advice if you think you have gangrene. The sooner the condition is treated the better the outcomes usually are.
Treatment options for gangrene include:
- using surgery to remove damaged tissue (known as debridement)
- using antibiotics to treat any underlying infection
In more severe cases it may be necessary to remove an entire body part such as a toe, foot, or lower leg.

I guess OP believes that vitamins can heal necrosis

I'm not suggesting vitamins is a cure. Again, if we eat healthy we are less likely to get a host of symptoms and ailments because the body is designed to treat itself. I'm not for vitamins in a bottle, as I believe we need to access local, seasonal and organic foods.

It don't matter where you get the vitamins, lack of vitamins does not cause gangrene and taking vitamins by whatever means is not going to cure it.

Another thing that is hilarious is the claim that color blindness is the result or can be treated by Vitamin A! I take it the author does not have any knowledge at all of genetics.
