Grand Theft Auto, the gaming series. Mass glorification of psychopathic urges.

Rubbing bare feet on the carpet. I can't stand that feeling. But not just walking, sliding your foot like you're skiing. I cringe from even seeing someone else do it. And I don't have sensitive soles either, I do barefoot mountain climbing and can stand on pretty sharp edges easily, just the evil carpets...

on the old rocky and Bullwinkle cartoon segment featuring Peabody and his boy, the WABAC machine was a time machine that let them time travel together into the past, hence the phonetic phrase WA[Y]BAC[K].

Oh yes now I get it wouldn't it be good if one was invented as long as you didn't get stuck in the wrong time, maybe someday they'll have the technology to make one.

I was talking to my mum about flying cars and she said it could be difficult because how do you get people to stay in lanes in the air. another

I don't believe we will ever be advanced enough for the general population to be flying around in their own flying cars. time travel might be something a level 3 [kardachev scale] civilization has under its belt, but not for anybody less advanced than that.

To borrow a phrase, if sometime in the future they invented time travel, where are all the time travelers? You'd think we'd have seen at least a few of them by now.

maybe those advanced tech WABAC machine users from the aforementioned level 3 civilization of the distant future or from a more advanced part of our galaxy, also have discovered the cloaking process to make themselves invisible.
