Most of my classmates don't know that I am an Aspie, and the most quirky thing about me is I cant stand being touched. They have interpreted this to mean that I hate germs, and have resolved to touch me as much as possible :?

Let them all see you apply a cream to your skin until one of them asks you what its for, then tell them it keeps your Leprosy under control.

I chewed out my nephew's oldest son yesterday for eating ice cream out of the carton instead of putting it into a bowl.

As far as I'm concerned, there is very little difference between that and spitting in it.

I'm quite germ phobic and also hate being touched, but I don't think anyone can tell.

(except at family gatherings where I stand near the door to avoid hugs and kisses )

For some reason a lot of people are like this. I've explained to people, even people I'm supposedly friends with, that I really hate touching unless I initiate it (and even then I don't like the feeling and I very, very rarely initiate contact anyway), and for the most part that just makes them actively want to touch me. Some do it out of some weird spite, some do it because they think doing so will help me 'get over it'. Apparently nearly no one thinks 'This person dislikes physical contact' then realizes 'I should try not to have physical contact with that person because of that.'.

The other day a classmate grabbed my arm (right where I had a pulled muscle) because they know I cant stand it, so, I smacked them (not too hard) across their arm to get them to let go.

"that person doesn't like it when I do this, therefore I want to do it more"

This seems to be the thought running through some peoples minds.

A big kid touched me in high school and I punched him in the gut. He knocked over a row of chairs and fell on his back...I didn't get touched after that.
