Has anyone ever shopped at Burlington Coat Factory? I looked at some of clothes and am blown away. Their items are so beautiful! Are their clothes used or new?

I think Burlington Coat Factory operates under the name Winners in Canada. It's new stuff, but often products will have minor defects.

Does the minor defects mean that the clothes were previously owned?

I really like shopping there. I can be picky with clothes and so far I have yet to go there and not find the item I'm looking for. I believe they sell new stuff. Minor defects means that some of clothes are of poorer quality and already have tears or loose strands. It hasn't been a problem in my experience because it wasn't the majority of items.

Burlington Coat Factory is one of the worst employers I ever worked for.

Especially when they illegally forced me to carry several 300 lb boxes up two flights of stairs by myself (threatening to terminate my employment if I did not do that), and then turn around and claim I did that on my own free will when I pulled a muscle in my back in the process in order to not pay their share of the L&I claim.

I am not bowled over by their selections. Their shoes are mostly off-brands made of cheap, poor quality materials. I have found a couple of pretty skirts there but the store in my area is dirty and messy.

They're new. First time I ever went to one was in Spokane, WA and it was in the downtown area. Mom got me three sun dresses there and a jacket. I think they have inexpensive items but I don't remember if it's one of those stores that sells clothes at a cheaper price. I am not sure when they came out to the Pacific Northwest. It was March 2001 when I first saw it.
