With her ex, who had cheated on her many times.

I also just recently found out that one of my friends, who had a fiancee of 10 years, she cheated on him. Yes, he's one of those genuinely nice guy types.

Feeling SO DISILLUSIONED here...the guy never spent time with her, cheated on her repeatedly, yet she tells me she "still loves him" and that's why she slept with him. I guess I've got a few "I told you so's" coming my way.

I'm also thinking that since so many women apparently can't handle monogamy, that I should just continue the fling game. Relationships are way overrated, and people don't respect them anyway. =/

Get yourself some popcorn, some mates, and a lot of shooty-type games.

I'm sorry this happened to you. It's happened to me too and it sucks. But I was strong and moved on, and you're strong and will move on too.

start to meet new people, don't get hung up on her. You probably will. Just go on. She doesn't represent all of the women out there.

Well for every woman that cheats is a man that happily obliges with her. People are just s**t, it's why I'm a misanthropist.

It's going to suck for a while. Try to continue to socialise. How about continuing going to those dancing lessons?

I actually tried to make another move on her after that, not incredibly forceful but I did make a move. She just wasn't having anything to do with it, I would have had to physically force her.

Meh. I tried playing the "nice guy with a spine" role and now the whole world can witness how well it works out.

She played you, used you as a cover while getting plugged somewhere else. No wonder she wasn't putting out. Obviously she wasn't ready to move on for real.

I don't understand why they make it so hard. They obviously want sex and obviously don't care that much if the guys a bastard.

So why not have sex with a socially awkward guy at least once? Why would that be worse than having sex with someone you know is a bastard?

I'm so sorry, Shau. I don't like to see this... People can be so cruel and unpredictable. :( At least since she wasn't sexual, you didn't have to be hurt in that way too.

Shame on her. But s**t happens and life moves on. Don't take it personally and please re-frame this incident in your mind so that it is positive.

1) you had a girlfriend for a while - yay
2) you learned a lot of stuff about relationships - yay
3) you didn't have sex with her so don't have to worry if she gets pregnant if it's yours - yay
4) you are free to find someone who is into you as much as you are into them - yay
5) [insert your own positive slants here] - yay

Ha ha ha ha ha ha!

Good spiel, leafplant.

You're trying to help him hold onto his delusions rather than cut to the root cause.

Because humans are apes.

Her ex made her feel feminine while Shau wasn't seen man enough in her eyes.
