Or, he might be playing a skillful game of poker.

I saw part of the CNN interview, and it seemed like he was trying to bait the interviewer into an argument.

Then, he can truthfully tell Kim Jong-un: I am catching a lot of heat.

Maybe. Sometimes I'm able to think charitably of people and cut them some slack, and sometimes I'm not.

I think that Dennis Rodman should never be allowed back into this country.

Feel quite sorry for Rodman. I can't help but feel there is a lot more going on than meets the eye.

if there is or isn't, nothing wrong with a small cultural exchange like this if it helps to get access to people that diplomatic talks have repeatedly failed to do.

Oh there's more going on than meets the eye in this, but one thing that I would definately not do if I was Rodman would be critical of the country, and the man that is hosting him, in light that countries' ongoing track record, and of it's current leader's recent track record, which is what I think the journalist was attempting to get him to do. --You never travel to a foreign country with the expectation that you will be exempt from it's laws if you f**k up, and well, I think it's pretty clear how North Korea treats people who break it's laws.

At the same time as well, I would also never have ventured there in the first place.

The only person that Mr. Rodman needs to criticize is his business advisor or publicist; whoever suggested that visiting THAT country, with THAT leader, considering Rodman's temper and insult history.

I have an image of a man standing in a puddle of gasoline, in a gas station, and lighting a cigarette.

On "Celebrity Rehab", Dr. Drew said Dennis Rodman had Asperger's. I don't know what is going on with him but he seems psychotic or maybe has a brain tumor or is terribly lost on drugs.

Not Asperger's,!

Not, not, not!

Any of the other three (or any combination), could be a definite possibility.

Good post, by the way; making the point that there could be something actually physically wrong with Mr. Rodman.

What did Drew base that diagnosis on? I have to ask, because Rodman certainly comes across as a very social person - just the exact opposite of Asperger's.

A year or more ago, I watched season 3 of "Celebrity Rehab". I forget what Dr. Drew said backing up the speculation about Asperger's. http://beyondautismawareness.wordpress. ... verywhere/ said "Dr. Drew Pinsky deemed Dennis Rodman (selectively hyperfocused, socially obtuse) a candidate for an Asperger's diagnosis, and the UCLA specialist brought in to make it official seemed to concur."

There is an interesting collection of Dennis Rodman stories at: www.pistonpowered.com/2011/03/a-collect ... n-stories/
The first story talks about shooting lay-ups. Dennis was not participating. When Isiah Thomas told him everyone has to, Dennis said he was counting rotations of the ball for each player.

Whether or not he has Asperger's, I think something else is going on that he would have such poor judgment with North Korea's Kim.

I wonder if Narcissistic Personality Disorder would fit better with Rodman.

Good call. I was watching a CNN panel last night and I think more than one person called him narcissistic or narcissistic personality disorder. Probably what he has in common with North Korea's Kim. In worlds of their own that have nothing to do with everyone else. Unfortunately, Kim is running a country.
