If the worlds wealth was truly redistributed (in the way that Marx advocated) everyone except the international ruling class would be better off.
People came to marx and asked him when the revolution was coming, he always brushed the off an made excuses about not being the opportune time. Same time he sent his kid to private school, and hung out with the bourgeois elite.

The Labour party used to be against the EU for example, and the Conservative party were for it.
Most of the Unions, were mostly for their own people, not for international workers.
