I don't think I have ever had a crush. At least I don't know what it feels like.

Oh good lord, yes!!

And, it's not always for the obvious, like physical attraction.

I have to admit that he's physically attractive but that is worth nothing if he has a bad personality.

Well,I really liked a boy who was a friend of mine but I don't think that I could count that as a crush because I was about eight or nine years old. I had another one when I was 12/13 on a young man (I think he was around 16/17).Anyway, do crushes on fictional characters count? If yes then I've had some and I still have.

I try not to have them. It's mentally hard though.

The only person I developed a crush on is the iCarly star, Miranda Cosgrove. I became very obsessed with her but I became obsessed with both my ex girlfriends & I no longer get obsessed cuz I take a med for my OCD.

I have been on the receiving end of a few crushes, but I have never had one myself.

I have had 3 in my lifetime. One of which has evolved into true love.

Sometimes, I feel like Howard Walowitz:
"There's the future Mrs. Wolowitz...wait, there's the future Mrs. Wolowitz, oh...nope, there's the future Mrs. Wolowitz..."

Really sucks because I'm so visually oriented and NYC is a mecca of cool looking people of all types. Get caught staring quite a lot.

I have had a lot, hur I'm not sure if they count. It was more about the idea of the person than the actually person.

I've had quite a lot of crushes, including two people who I suspect were interested in me. I just blew my opportunities because social anxiety.

I had many crushes from the age of about 8. I would become quite obsessed about them, write (and embarrassingly send) love letters, I did stuff like make a necklace with the person's initials and wear it to school, carved someone's initials into my wrist. I would think about my crushes all the time, and I had a chance to kiss 2 of them and totally freaked out and ran away, literally. Then alcohol came along. I think I would have stayed a virgin until my 30s if it wasn't for alcohol!

I've had many crushes over the course of my life. Some of them fictional characters. My first love when I was a kid was Ariel from The Little Mermaid.

My first was Julie Andrews. 1968. Got hit with a rock in the eye when I lived in the Bahamas. Very rudimentary medical services there. So, I got laid up with an eye patch for a while. Mom played her albums on the old Hi-Fi. And would just stare at her picture.....sigh.......

I was thinking about this. The thing I like about crushes is that they are on people that are at a distance. I get to feel all gooey inside without dealing with the reality of another person.

All those things that people do, and have to do, that I really would rather not know about for the most part.

The crush = fantasy

reality = reality and all the things that people really do and the lack of distance/space....I need my space....very much so. If I don't have it, I can't get oriented and it overloads me.
