I feel like what one person means when they say "obsession" sometimes means they don't like it rather than it's a problem. Obsession to one person is passion to another.

It's good to be a diverse person with diverse interests. But if you have too many interests and things that you do, you'll never become good at one thing. You have to be dedicated and passionate to be good at something. And sometimes, when someone doesn't understand what you like, and why you like it, they'll call you obsessed and deride what you like instead of praising your passion.

Passion is a good thing. It's a lot better than being sad and depressed and unengaged in something. If you're passionate for something, it makes you happy to be alive. And it's always good to be happy to be alive.
