I am cool! People like me!* My social skills are perfect! I use metaphors with a precision that baffles most. I have empathy that "normals" lack.
I continue to fight when out manned and out gunned. "Normals" don't.
What's the problem? And why is this site called " wrong planet"? It should be called right planet! " they" ( the normals) should learn from us!! !!
Anyway, my asp bros and sisters, we will rule! Because, we are the next step in evolution!! !
I am married, wealthy and so be yourself and follow me!

How did you get a diagnosis if you social skills are perfect? That is an inherent contradiction of the primary symptoms of the autistic condition. Are you sure you aren't highly sensitive? That would better explain your heightened capacity for empathy, as well as your average-above average social skills. Many symptoms of high sensitivity mimic autism as seen here: http://www.hsperson.com/test/highly-sensitive-test/

Including all the symptoms that stem from my autism, I score a 19; eliminating my autistic symptoms, I only score a 6. Perhaps you experienced the opposite effect; you attribute symptoms of sensitivty to autism, opposite of me who could, theoretically, attribute symptoms of my autism to high sensitivity. The difference for me is that I do not have the empathic and social aspects that you do. Perhaps your diagnostician misdiagnosed you as ASD when you were in fact an HSP. That would explain the incongruency of your symptoms.

1. Misdiagnosis
2. Correct diagnosis. Aspies can think there social skills are great when they are crap
3. Troll. If this is the case a really skilled one with 468 posts and not being thrown out.
4. Some combination of the above.

Which one I don't know. Somehow I missed out on the perfect people reading social skills needed to be part of the next stage in evolution :shameonyou:

Or 5. previous forum user suffering some form of psychotic or manic break after posting "normally" for some time.

As soon as I heard the name of this Website, it made immediate and perfect sense to me and they couldn't have picked a more appropriate name for it as far as I'm concerned.

All my life, I've always felt like I'm on the wrong planet! I didn't know if I was put here for protection, punishment or to learn but the one thing that has always been certain to me is I don't belong here. I don't fit in here and although I long to be somewhere else, I'm not sure where that is.

This is something I have always felt strongly about ever since I can remember.
I watch humans as if they were test subjects, trying to work them out but alas, after 47 years, I am still no closer to figuring them out. I guess if I was put here to learn, I ain't doin' so crash hot!

That would be the most logical conclusion.

I don't get sarcsam most days so I can't say with any certainty however. :D

Nobody's social skills are ever "perfect." That's a dead giveaway.
