yeah why not?

A lot of women want a man that is at least their height or taller. You're 5 ft 6 which really isn't terribly short. There are plenty of women who are at least 2 inches shorter. Is your height going to be a turn off for some women? Yes it will. But for other woman, 5 ft 6 is acceptable and not a deal breaker.

If you find that you can't get a girlfriend, it is not just your height. Maybe you are doing something wrong.

I am 5'7" and have been married for 15 years, so yes, your height is not going to be a big problem. I work with 2 guys shorter than I am (never thought that would happen) and both of them are married, but neither is an Aspie, though. I have been turned down for numerous reasons, but my height was never given as one of them.

Yes all you really need are average looks and a decent personality and you're set, with the latter being the far more important quality to just about everyone.

Yes! Short dudes unite! I'm only 5'4" and am a married aspie. My height has always been a source of self deprecation. Especially since one side of my family is over 6' (although the other is under 5'6"). My wife is only 5' on a good day, so in pictures we look "average" sized.

It's hard to focus on things other than the physical, but when you find the right person it won't even be an issue.

Even before marriage I dated women taller and shorter than myself.

5'7.....5'6

Seriously? Those are all average heights.

The guys who struggle are the 5'3 and under, being shorter than at least half of the girls isn't helpful.

Your height doesn't any matter. Relationship is not a basketball. It's harder for you to make a first impression but in all other it's same thing. I am just a little taller (for 4") and i have a beautiful wife. But i met her on a special website https://www.bridge-of-love.com, but it doesn't matter. The main key here that we were chatting for few month with rarely speaking on webcam. She understand what kind of person i am. All other was simple.

I'm 5 foot 4.75. I've done okay since my mid-twenties.

According to the internet there are plenty of hot male celebrities who are surprisingly short:

Nope. Actually, no guy 5'6" and shorter is married. All the seemingly happy couples out there with short guys are actually because he's got hired hitmen nearby threatening to kill her if she shows any sign of not wanting to be with them!

I gave a sarcastic response above because I think you know the answer, man. :)

What really matters is not being a loser.

While a lot guys considerably shorter than me do just fine---or more than just fine---I feel I'd have to be much taller and fitter, and well-trained for combat, to have a chance. The moment someone shows up who could beat the crap out of me, I know I need to get out of there fast, because it's only a matter of time for me to give them a reason to do it. Of course, this means I really don't belong anywhere, and the best thing I can do is try to go unnoticed.
