I think it's because I'm sick, but I've been feeling high. It's a nice feeling, but my sensory issues and reflexes are way worse. I'm also having some memory issues. My sensory issues are normally non-existent or within normal range. I don't look high to other people, but I really feel spacey and high. When I was driving I often had trouble stopping on time. Before this happened to me that was one of my strengths. When I'm playing accordion I often forget what to play next on songs I've practiced for months.

Has your illness caused you to lose sleep?

Not much more than usual, but feeling high has made me lose sleep. If that makes any sense.

Be careful and mindful when you drive.

Sometimes, I get tired at the wheel--and I have to really push myself to have focus.

Are you taking an antihistamine?

For me, this can sometimes cause me to feel spacey.

No. I'm not taking any medication.

Do you have a fever? I get like that when I have a fever.

Are you taking any kind of medication for being sick? such as cough syrup...if so some kind of that contain DXM, which is a hallucinogen in high enough dosage, but some people are likely more sensitive to its effects so that could be it if you're taking anything like that.

Nope. No medication. I don't really need any. All I have is a slightly plugged nose and this weird high feeling. I know that I'm sick because there's this bug going around.

It's going around in NYC, too. I have pretty bad diarrhea and not-so-bad nausea. There are times when I feel "flu-ish"--though I don't have a high fever (probably no fever, for that matter).
