If you could do with a bit of a laugh today, this link might cheer you up:

http://isnt.autistics.org/

Some of you will have seen it before, a lot of newer members won't have and it can be very validating as well as amusing.

Humour like this is really helpful IMO.

I agree with OP.

From FAQ from the institutes website.

"Networking addiction" is a common cormordity of nerotypicality. A controversy has erupted over whether the condition should be pathologized. Those in favor of adding the condition to the DSM 6 argue that it is a form of delusion since very few ‘contacts’ end up in useful business partnerships or employment that the participants expect. Neurotypical Speaks notes that it is a burden that breaks up marriages due to time and effort involved and occasional affairs that result. These similarities to gambling addiction have been noted. Environmentalists have protested outside networking events citing a vast waste of paper involved in printing business cards. However so called “NT rights” activists and a few outlier psychologists have argued that “networking” is an essential form of release from the tension involved with living in a normal world and the negative views of this activity is a form of ableism.

Annoyed by the site, mainly that he is mad people think his mood is flat. On the outside yes its obvious are moods are flat but within we feel much more.

Don't know what his problem is. I think the experts have more insight into autistic behaviour then I do at times. I thought everything I was doing was just me...its obviously not...its a defined set of symptoms and I'm okay with having a disability. Its not a difference for me it negatively effects my life in some areas.
